To make Bellagio durable, the wood is first kiln dried to a uniform moisture content and dimensional stability. Then it’s pre finished with six coats of a tough UV-cured polyurethane with suspended aluminum oxide crystals. This provides a hardness that can stand up to years of use even in light commercial applications. It’s f finish whose time has come, because it’s much more wear-resistant than any job site finish.
